Reporting to the CEO/CTO, the VP of Operations is responsible for ensuring that every customer is successful at generating value from the firm suite of products and services and remains a loyal and happy customer.

Key Responsibilities: 

Stakeholder/Business Management:

  • Establish and retain high levels of client engagement and relationship
  • Onboarding – Ensure every new customer is quickly and efficiently educated and launched with the company’s offerings to ensure long term success
  • Growth plan for engineers Inspire and lead a talented group of engineers, helping them manage their careers and grow as professionals
  • Develop and manage the service’s budget including developing methods and criteria to report on effective profit and loss of all services that flow through the organization
  • Recruit highly engaged, high achieving individuals to join the customer success team as the company continues to expand its customer base rapidly
  • Process Lay down effective processes for every department of the business from Sales, Marketing, Engineering Operations, HR, Recruiting, Finance and Admin
  • Be the central point of contact with all departments ensuring smooth running of the operations

Key Requirements:

  • 15 years’ experience in IT Software Development Services and Consulting Organization
  • You should have led a team of at least 50-100 engineers as a part of your portfolio
  • You work with all other departments of the organization to make sure that your business unit and the organization are successful
  • You would be adept at creating, documenting and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures for various functions
  • You would be implementing alerting and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that the processes can now be followed in an auto-pilot mode
  • You objectively demonstrated the ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • You believe in a systems-driven approach rather than a person-driven approach
  • You have preferably an engineering AND a business or accounting degree
  • A strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • You carry a telescope and microscope for decision making
  • You have an eye for numbers and are logical with broad business acumen
