Al Norshirvani is the owner of three full-service World Gym franchises in the mid-Atlantic and consults with several fitness clubs.

Al was the co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of Motionsoft Inc – a software for fitness brands focused on “Get Them, Keep Them and Know Them.” Under Al’s leadership, Motionsoft was recognized as the IHRSA Associate Member of the Year and was later acquired by Daxko, a leading software and financial services provider for the health, fitness, and wellness industries.

In 2010, the Washington Business Journal named Al a member of the 40 under 40, which recognizes the Greater Washington region’s brightest young business leaders based on demonstrated business success. Al is also the founder of the Fitness Technology Summit, an annual, invitation-only event where marketing, operations, and technology executives gather for networking, education sessions, and insightful panel discussions. Al also serves as an Advisor and Board Director to multiple early-stage software companies.
